Today I have some beautiful indie polishes from my dear friend Michelle. You can find her on Instagram @creativenailchick. She sells her polish on Etsy, so please look her up, I believe she is having a sale on her fall and winter polish right now!
Stained Glass over Sinful Colors Snow Me White and Wet ‘N Wild Black Creme. This polish has hex and square glitter of various colors and sizes. The glitter is shimmery and holographic, making it very sparkly outside. The glitter was a bit sparse in the polish compared to some glitter polishes, but I like that. It was easy to get a good spread and coverage of glitter in two coats here.
This is Strawberry Cosmo, an absolute glitter bomb of teeny pink glitter, medium holo pink hexes, and a few small purple hex glitters. This is three coats on its own with Seche Vite on top.
Love the sparklies!
Night Watch. This is two coats over Revlon Royal, although black would have been a better choice simply to aid in hiding the edges. This beautiful polish is a dark blackish jelly base that would probably take a few coats to build up alone. It contains teal and blue and green and even gold square and hex glitter and some golden red shimmer in certain light. This looks so amazing with a thick coat of Seche Vite to even the top out.
The only caveat I have to these polishes is that they smell absolutely horrible. I have a Models Own polish (Hot Stuff) that smells like paint thinner and literal varnish, and these smell just like that. I don’t know the chemical makeup of Laquerlicious, so I cannot speak to them being better or worse – but my nose suffered during application.
All in all, beautiful polishes.
