Return of the NerdLacquer: Part 1

Today I have some gorgeous creations from Amanda at NerdLacquer!  She has returned from her hiatus with a few new polishes and lots of her previous creations!  I was so lucky to have a friend tell me she was stocking her store (click HERE), and was able to snag 10 gorgeous polishes!  Here are the first five…

All Of Time And SpaceAll Of Time And Space is a breathtaking sea foam green with lots of shimmer, silver and white and magenta glitter.  Here I wear three easy coats with no undies. This was my number 1 lemming, but actually wasn’t my favorite on.  The color combo is perfect, but the others were just…sparklier. You’ll see what I mean!  But I love the color on me, and I am sure this will be a go-to for work as I wear a lot of teal!

Antisocial MediaAntisocial Media is a GORGEOUS deep teal with silver shimmer, silvery green glitter, and darker blue glitter. This is two coats with Seche Vite as it looked a teeny bit bumpy without the topcoat.  Love.

Antisocial Media 2Here is a less color accurate picture, but you get to see a lot more of the shimmer.

Event Horizon 2Holy. Guacamole.  This was my hands down favorite, although there was a close second.  I absolutely adore this deep foresty blue-green base, and it is the exact right jelly formula to build up nicely in two thick coats while still showing layers of glitter. Absolute perfection…take a closer look.

Event HorizonDead. Right?  How gorgeous is this…I’m just head over heels for this mixture of micro, fine, and medium glitter in a variety of silver, blue, and green hues.  Perfection!

ExterminateIf I’m honest, I bought this one because I wanted free shipping and hadn’t quite reached the spending limit…but I’m SO GLAD I got it!  How many shimmery brown polishes do you own?  If you’re like me and have a bazillion polishes, chances are STILL good you don’t have many browns.  And you have nothing like this.  Another look…

Exterminate 2You’re seeing that, right?  This is three thin coats which built up perfectly, again, showing the great layers of glitter. And this was FULL of glitter.  Coppery shimmer, black glitter, and the perfect shade of gold glitter combined with blue for a really unique polish.  Great work Amanda. I love this way more than I expected to!

Don't Panic 2Last one for today. Here is my close second fave, and when you see this bad boy in person…it makes you wonder why you don’t own more sparkly, lime colored things.  But this isn’t just a pretty green polish, as I’m sure you noticed.  Don’t Panic, here in three thin coats, is an absolute glitterbomb.  The base, which is mostly covered with glitter, is a lime-y yellow jelly.  I didn’t leave this on long enough as I was swatching, but I bet it might stain without a basecoat, so do keep that in mind.  Superfine bright yellow green glitter makes up the base, with larger yellow green and dark green glitters.  And…orange?!

Don't PanicWhy yes. And it fits right in.

There you have it, the first five. Stay tuned for the second half of my NerdLacquer haul!

Which NerdLacquer is your biggest lemming?

  5. These are absolutely beautiful! I see why everyone goes crazy for them. I personally will not be buying any because of the price and because of how the brand is run. I love seeing the gorgeous swatches, though!
